Dr. Robert J. Avino is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction. He combines advanced surgical techniques with the latest in robotic technology to deliver exceptional outcomes and faster recovery with less pain.
Focusing on the treatment of hip and knee arthritis, his expertise includes robotic-assisted direct anterior hip replacement and robotic-assisted knee replacement. Committed to patient-centered care, he takes time to understand each individual’s goals and guides them through both surgical and non-surgical treatment options.

His research has been published in The Journal of Arthroplasty, the leading journal in his field, and he serves as a peer reviewer for the publication. He has also presented his work at national orthopaedic conferences. In addition, Dr. Avino serves on the governing board of Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, helping to guide the hospital’s commitment to excellence in patient care.
